Report for The World Bank highlighting the transformational impacts of results-based financing
RBF World Bank Progress Report
Since 2007, the Health Results Innovation Trust Fund has supported results-based financing approaches in the health sector to improve maternal and child health around the world. The HRITF is administered by The World Bank, and supported by the Governments of Norway through Norad, and the United Kingdom through the Department for International Development. This Report reveals solid evidence that results-based financing can improve health outcomes by increasing access to better quality and more equitable services, and promoting greater efficiency in even the poorest countries. A heavy use of photography, not seen in previous years, helped deliver a more complete emotional experience, and brought these powerful and uplifting stories to life in a way that text alone would not have been able to do.
